There are 2 perspectives on life...

A) No Afterlife: Do what you want, good or bad... no repercussion or judgment after you die... This life is it, nothing after.

B)There is an Afterlife: You are judged for your deeds during this life, your experience or reward/punishment is determined by your actions during this life.

Now, in those two scenarios, it all assumes a linear approach to existence. Both of those are flawed in the fact that they assume there is a 'before', 'during', and 'after' to life.

Time and linearality is a constraint of the three-dimensional world that we live in. . Time is a unique function of our 'reality'. When you remove linearality from the equation, you then have the following perspective on life:

THIS IS IT! RIGHT NOW! You are 'judged' for your actions right now, and in every instant (I say 'judged', but it is more like the directly correlated effect of your action is instantly experienced). Your experience in this instant is the result of your ability to trust the 'Light' or the 'dark' (the concept 'dark' is an illusion... it is a creation of language... 'dark' is in fact 'no light' or the absence of light. so to put it more rigorously "your ability to trust the 'Light' or the 'no light'").

So here is where Heaven and hell come into the equation... There is no Heaven and there is no Hell in the literal sense of the word... as an actual 'place' that you 'go to' after you die. (I'm not sure of the exact origin of that concept, but Jesus did not teach it, and it was not in the original manuscripts of the old or new testament of the bible... it was added as an interpretation to the modern Bible. The word for hell is actually translated many different ways such as 'death' 'the grave' etc.).

Heaven is an experience of being 'Fully Connected to the Universe', of being fully alive, and experiencing the fullness and richness of your being. Heaven is NOW, not later... not someday... not after you die...

Hell is the same... an experience of 'disconnectedness from the universe' the absence of being alive, no experience of the fullness and richness of your being. Hell is NOW, not after you die.

Now when you look at that... hell is not so bad.. not a place where you burn eternally... hell is actually ok. You could live in that state. Hell is an illusion. It does not actually exist. You cannot be disconnected from something that you are a part of... that you comprise, and are comprised of. Hell is a lie. All you really have is 'Heaven' and 'no Heaven', Heaven and the absence of heaven.

So, now we come to death... In either of the first two perspectives on life, if one is not satisfied with their current life, all one must do to receive their judgment, the culmination of the deeds of their lives, is to put an end to life. To end their own. It even makes sense in either instance... either there is no afterlife, and you will just end.. *POOF* gone!, or your will be judged and sent to hell or heaven... and if you are already certain that you are to be condemned to hell, then what the heck? might as well end the suffering now!

But in the third view of life... there is no afterlife and there is no 'not afterlife' Because the 'after' is removed from the equation... There is just Life. There is just 'right now' nothing more... and when you are able to live in this moment, live the current instant as eternal, live NOW as infinite, there is no need to end this life... Living as a moment by moment choice of heaven and hell, who would not choose Heaven, and Heaven, and Heaven, and Heaven. If YOU had the choice RIGHT NOW to trust LOVE or 'not love', what would you choose?
